Privacy Policy

Fluentify is built to be privacy-first. We don’t run servers and we don’t track you.
What data Fluentify processes
- Your text. The text you select or paste is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you configure (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral) using your API key. Fluentify does not proxy or store this data.
- Local storage. The extension stores your settings (theme, tone, provider, API keys) and a local history of up to 25 improved texts in your browser storage only.
What Fluentify does not do
- No analytics or tracking.
- No cookies.
- No external logging.
- No transmission of data to servers controlled by the Fluentify developers.
Third-party providers
Your requests are sent only to the provider you choose, subject to their policies:

Permissions (why we need them)

Security of your keys
API keys are saved in browser storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. You can delete them anytime from the extension’s Providers settings or by removing the extension.
Your choices
- Clear local history in Settings → About.
- Remove API keys or switch providers in Settings → Providers.
- Uninstall the extension at any time.
